About the Inclusion Strategy Builder
The Inclusion Strategy Builder is a free, browser-based tool from The Maps Project that helps school leaders in England write and publish the inclusion strategy required of every mainstream school receiving the Inclusive Mainstream Fund. It follows the Department for Education's inclusion strategy template and guidance: barriers to learning and participation, funded activities with budgeted costs, intended outcomes, and the review of the previous year, across the seven principles of inclusion. It links barriers, activities, outcomes and spending together, challenges the logic as you write, and exports an editable Word or PDF strategy, a family summary, and — in Guided build — an internal delivery plan and a governor monitoring summary. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored by us; it runs entirely in your browser. Suitable for primary and secondary schools, including sixth forms. The Maps Project (Managed Approach to Positive Support) is a Sheffield secondary school inclusion programme anchored at Notre Dame High School and principally funded by Sheffield City Council.
